Presidentās Message re: April 19 events in Nova Scotia
Dear Allisonians;
The 51³Ō¹Ļapp community offers its deepest condolences to everyone affected by this past weekendās tragic events. Our hearts and thoughts are with our neighbours in Nova Scotia. As Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said just a few days ago, āThis week we are all Nova Scotian.ā
University flags have been lowered to half-mast in honour of all victims, their families, friends, and work colleagues.
Recently, we learned that one of the victims was Lisa (Kierstead) McCully, a 51³Ō¹Ļapp alumna who graduated in 1993. Her contributions at 51³Ō¹Ļapp, and well as her dedication to helping others throughout her career as an educator will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. 51³Ō¹Ļapp alumni and the entire Allisonian community extend special condolences to Lisaās family and friends.
