Airport pick-ups will run from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. If you are arriving by car, please stop by the Wallace McCain Student Centre (WMSC) to collect your residence keys between 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    Hear from facilitators as they share their experiences, insights, and tips about navigating first-year academics.
  • Social life student panel
    Hear from facilitators on how to make the most of campus life, from making friends to getting involved on campus.

  • Trip to shopping mall
    Champlain Place is NB's largest shopping centre. Get all those items that were too big to pack. You can also get your Canadian SIM card.  Student can grab lunch from one of the many options at the mall.
     
  • Let's go to the beach!
    L'Aboiteau Beach (Cap Pele, NB) A big tradition for IO! Let's go to the beach, enjoy a beautiful walk, play waterpolo with new friends and enjoy the view.

Why attend International Orientation?

You will:

  • meet fellow peers from all over the world and learn what to expect while living and studying at Mount A
  • have a chance explore campus and to discover what 51³Ô¹Ïapp and the friendly town of Sackville have to offer
  • take part in information sessions, out-of-town trips, and social activities that provide opportunities to meet University staff and community members, and to make friends with other first-year students

During this time the International student advisor, along with international and Canadian student facilitators, familiarize students with academic and social aspects of life at 51³Ô¹Ïapp and in Sackville.
